Squeak is a small design business started up by Pippa Oostergetel, a Textile Designer from Melbourne, Australia. A lover of scarves and colour, Pippa decided to break out on her own and start designing the the things that make her truly happy. With a deep breath she left the safety of the commercial design world and started up Squeak. All designs are 100% original and 100% lovely! Our scarves are digitally printed onto silk, and our homewares onto cotton canvas. Digital print allows the designs to be as photographic, as detailed and as colourful as possible. Eco-friendly 2014 Calendars by Paperbird Society

2014 Calendar of Robins is now available in Australia at

The Paperbird Society is a creative outlet and a way to combine the love of birds, printmaking, and paper-goods.

Designer, Melissa, loves being in nature amongst the birdlife and always carries her trusty camera looking to photograph a bird that she can use as inspiration for a design. Using her vintage press she creates prints from these photographs which form the main imagery in her designs.

Being eco-friendly is very important so where possibly only eco-friendly materials are used. 100% recycled paper, and 100% cotton tote bags, even the packaging used is made from plants!

These super eco-friendly black and white calendars are available in three different styles. 12 pages are hung on a specially hand-made wooden hanger which is crafted in the most eco-friendly way possible, using only biodegradable materials, with absolutely no metal or plastic.

All artwork is original and features either 12 months of Robin drawings or bird-inspired patterns using hand drawn elements.

2014 Patterns of birds calendar, available from

The details:
• A3 calendar (42cm at longest point x 29.5cm)
• One month per page.
• Printed in black on 160gsm 100% recycled paper.
• Wooden hanger is handmade by me using only FSC certified pine.

Creative illustrations by Beth-Emily

Gorgeous illustrations by Australian artist Beth-Emily
Beth-Emily's approach to observing or cataloging forms in nature is not scientific. Nor does Beth-Emily attempt to accurately depict or replicate the real-life subjects that she studies. Instead, Beth-Emily works by finding the unique idiosyncrasies that exist in a subject and applies these characteristics to her artworks by combining them with imagery created by her imagination.

In effect, Beth-Emily creates a hybrid of sorts, which ultimately bridge the two realms of the physical world and the world of the imagination, through the vehicle of illustration and design.

Both illustrations pictured here, Hummingbird and Bird of Paradise, are now available as poster size on 100% recycled paper (note these are not white print stock) at for only $14.95.
